Do you know an initiative which helps people with intellectual disabilities get into the labour market?
Then you should encourage them to apply for the Civil Society Prize.

The European Economic and Social Committee annually awards the prize to projects by organisations or individuals which promote European identity and integration.

The prize, which has as a total value of 50 000 €, this year is is aimed at initiatives which focus on labour market integration. The rules specifically mention people who “require specific support“, such as people with disabilities.

The deadline for submitting applications is 8 September 2017.

The prize will be awarded on 7 December 2017.
